"This sixteen and a half pound male Coho was caught by Carl A. Rettenberger on a seven day float trip down the Goodnews River in southwestern Alaska. The weather that week was typical for Alaska in mid August; rain, cold, warm and sunny. Carl was happy he remembered to bring his mid weight Simms Insulated Underwear, Simms Medium Weight Socks, Simms Classic Guide Waders, Simms G3 Guide Boots, Simms G3 Guide Jacket and Simms G3 Guide Vest. Oh yes, he also was wearing his Simms Back Saver Belt, Polartec Power Stretch Fleece Pants, Guide Model Gravel Guards and Washed Twill Short Bill Cap. No the polarized glasses where not made by Simms!!
Carl reports, ""Fly fishing is my passion, and each year from January to December I fish a minimum of eighty days, so I depend on my Simms gear and equipment to keep me warm and dry. Simms' dedication to quality, reliability and customer satisfaction is what keeps me buying and using their products."""
