Zipper Fails Review by phunkysalmon
Overall
I've had 3 of these. Each time, the zipper has failed. Simms was great and replaced the bag, but each time, the zipper has failed. I do not overstuff it and I am careful about lining up the zipper properly.

Design flaw

zipper cord comes off. top comparement not water proof. Side handle inconvenient Review by roger
Overall
The top compartment is not water proof. The side handle is inconvenient and allows stuff to spill out if not zipped all the way closed. The zipper cord comes off when trying to close the bag.

Darn Good Boat Bag Review by CascadesFly
Overall
I've had this bag for about 5 years. It has spent 100+ days a year on the river. This thing has been all over the Pacific Northwest in the heat of eastern Washington and in the rain, sleet and snow west of the Cascades. It's had a hard life to say the least.

The zipper finally broke. I'm replacing it with another Dry Creek boat bag. Just a super sweet, durable and functional bag.

Holds a lot, ... but not for long. Review by Nick
Overall
I bought this bag for my flats skiff down in the Florida Keys. It's big and holds a lot . After three years the glue or whatever it is that holds the top on just disintegrated. Top fell right off as I was loading up for a trip. This bag was stored indoors always. I was very disappointed in the lack of durability with this product. i'm used to Simms being top shelf. Not with this bag.

Not too thrilled Review by Natalia - Cooper Landing, Alaska
Overall
I bought this bag and did not realize at the time the inconvenience of having the handle on the side. Once you put in all your gear and zip the bag closed and lift it up everything gets dumped to one side! I also found that in heavy rain the side pockets would fill up with water, even when zipped closed. The main zipper had to be completely closed or water would get in there as well. I am used to a bag were you can flip the cover closed for the 5 minutes it rains and not have everything soaked. The top zipper always get water inside..... Not recommended for rainy areas!

Great for the Sled Review by Swattin Salmon - Redmond/WA/USA
Overall
I fish the Columbia River and Northern rivers and it's great to have a bag of this type on board. You need extra rain gear and being able to keep clothing in control when running the rivers is essential. Compact and easy to stow for all trips.
