OverallIn an economy where I've noticed a lot of company's product quality slipping, Simms products have not followed suit. From design through to the finished product I am actually proud to wear your name. The sizing is perfect. The placement of pockets and zingers are perfect. I anticipate wearing this vest forever. Or until my sons find it. Thank you Simms for keeping quality as your primary objective.

- Simms Best Choice Review by Wolf
OverallHave been looking to replace my vest for a few years now. Didn't have the heart to throw it out. Has faithfully served me for 20+ years.
Hoping for another winner. Much nicer than my previous vest.

- Excellent for the fly-fisherman who loves and has a lot of gear. Review by Jesse
OverallI received this vest as a Christmas present, and WOW!!! The vest is extremely comfortable to wear, as their is added padding around the collar to support your neck. The vest is lightweight and has more than enough pockets to store gear. I am very adamant on taking a lot of gear out on the water, and this vest is perfect because of the large amount of pockets located across the vest. The back of the vest even has a storage area where you can carry even more gear, or pack a coat or light sweater if the weather gets cold. The retractable components of the vest are extremely efficient and allow me to hold spools of tippet, as well as other tools that you will use numerous times while fly-fishing on the river. If you want a high quality vest with lots of storage that will make you feel like you are wearing almost nothing, buy this vest!!!

- Slightly overall better than my 10 year old Guide vest except no rings on the sides below the arm holes Review by jimshorts
OverallMy first impression without even looking at the neck tag was "Made in China". The "D" rings are small, cheap and in weird places. Where I really need one to attach my Gear Keeper for my staff isn't there(below the arm holes). The fabric isn't nearly the quality of my old Simms vest. Hard to say why but it's thinner and just not the same hand. The zippers are decent. And there are lots of pockets. The rigid reinforcement helps for access without the pocket collapsing and moving as you try to put something back or take it out. The sticthing is wider spaced at the seams and there is a lack of reinforcement fabric in critical areas. Time will tell if it holds up. I was expecting better. I bought site unseen due to my local fly shop not having any in the store to look at and try on. Simms has a terrific warranty and service department. I know they will stand behind this product even if it isn't of the quality I was expecting.

- So much room! Review by Andrew Malek
OverallSo I got this vest at the start of the summer fishing season this year and let me tell you it is by far the best vest i have ever owned. With all my other vests I always had problems with storage, either they didnt have enough pockets, not big enough pockets, or just bad location of pockets. With this vest I never had any problems, it was almost hard to fill up all of the pockets. The big seller for me was the fact that I can keep a light jacket on the back pocket for the chilly montana mornings. Buy this vest!

- G3 and Mesh jacket Review by alexangler
OverallAs a member of the National France's Team of fly fishing during many and many years. During this time we won more cup than any other country even today. After 7 times world championship of fly-fishing (FFF )and dozen times on the podium i was glad because i didn't run for any big name but now i'm off from the tour, but let me tell you something i got hundred of outfit/rod and gear for free from many companies but the only jacket that i wear is my lovely G3 jacket for continental climate and my "Mesh" for warm weather. 30 years of intense fly fishing all around the globe freshwater as well as saltwater i can say to anyone if you want to safe money and look great buy the right stuff to keep that for many years to come that's why i buy Simms only:)
