go-to gear Review by ancient mariner
this is one great piece of kit - put it to the test guiding in alaska, on the oregon coast, and the mountains of british columbia. i will not be without it in the future. it is warm and very comfortable - great flexibility so you'll forget you have it on. the foot loops are a great addition to keep it from riding up your legs or inside your waders. just buy yourself a set and thank me later.

Quality product Review by Hugh
I've been wearing these bibs over the Down Under wool top and bottoms for a couple of years. These two garments are my go to base layer when slush is floating down the stream. These bibs add another dimension to base layering for hard core anglers. Can't say enough about them. I add a pair of guide fleece pants and my legs are set. A Waderwick 200 fleece top, along with a guide fleece top completes my mid layering. Depending on how nasty it is, my Bulkley or my G4 tops it all off. I'm 6'3, 240 lbs. and the XLL is a good fit for my body and I do have a pouch in front. These bibs are cut perfect for me. They hug the body just right and there's no binding or loose hanging fabric. There's plenty of stretch, so no problems when bending over or getting down on your knees. The interior is soft, the exterior is smooth and another layer slides right over. For convenience, the zipper opens from the top and bottom. The sleeveless top gives more room in the shoulders when adding additional layers. The material is holding up well, no stitching issues, no frayed material, the zippers are flawless and these bibs should last for many years. A quality piece of layering and well worth the money. The pockets in the chest are a nice, but personally I do not use them. Down the road, if need be, eliminating the pockets could slow down a price increase. Until then, keep them there as the orange zips look pretty classy. Own two pair of these guys, just like all my other Simms layers, as a couple years ago I took a spill in the cold and didn't appreciate how nice Simms clothing is until you don't have it to put on.

Fleece Bib Review by Dave Rocke
I've used these bibs for three years steelhead, trout and salmon fishing here in Southeast Alaska and they're great! The only problem is they are too warm when/if we do get warmer weather...wish Simms would make a lighter pair also

Great Review by David
I had a fleece bib from another company that I had for years. It finally just wore out. I used it mostly for skiing and occasionally for fishing. I received one of these for christmas. It is GREAT. Keeps me toasty warm. So if you know somebody who skis and complains about being cold get them to try this. BTW, it works good for fishing as well.

Perfect Late Season Layer Review by Tyler
From fall trout fishing to winter steelheading, this is a go to piece of gear from October until May. I like to wear the bib with a light base layer under the top and add layers over as needed. The bottoms are usually enough insulation alone until water temps drop into the 40's. Also great for duck hunting, skiing, stand hunting, you name it. If you do it in the cold, this will be a versatile 'go-to' piece of gear.

One piece for Everything Review by Kevin Estrada
The Guide Fleece bib is one of my favourite pieces from Simms. I wear it not only when I am guiding but snowmobiling, wading and other outdoor activities. It is comfortable, easy and effective. I would recommend this piece to anybody. It's even nice to sleep in!
