No Fly Zone Product Care
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly from dryer. Dryer sheet not recommended. Low iron.
Do not dry clean garment as dry cleaning can diminish No Fly Zone performance. 70+ washings until NFZ starts to deteriorate.

No Fly Zone™ is a permethrin-based insect repellent (odorless, water-based and biodegradable) tha offers excellent protection from multiple species of crawling and flying insect. This package of COR3 and No Fly Zone technologies provides you with maximum sun protection (UPF 50), insect repellent, moisture-management and anti-odor performance in sportswear made specifically for anglers. Burlington® Labs utilizes a patented process, one of the industry's safest, to bind the insect repellent to the fabric. The consistent application of the repellent to the fabric also ensures unprecedented performance and durability.

At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
