- Versatile. Favorite on and off the water. Review by Cardo

Overall I bought this on a whim heading out for a trip during our unpredictable VA weather. Glad I did. It was 40 one day, snowing that evening and 70 the next day. I wore this under a Patagonia down sweater all under the Simms G4 Pro jacket. A few shoulder deep dunks in the river ended up soaking through to the down jacket and crew. The rivershed crew, although wet kept me warm and eventually I had to chuck the Patagonia (which was still soaked!) The rivershed crew dried out fast and was comfortable with just a polypro tshirt the next day. The oversized crew neck, which bothered me at first, helped cool me off on the water and made wearing a Simms collar shirt bearable off the water—any other crew would have turned that collar into a neck brace!(Posted on 4/14/13)
- Good "layer" for cool days (fit could be improved though). Review by Yukon_fly

Overall I picked up this sweater with the intent to use it as a layer between the DownUnder top and my G4 jacket. It does the trick in cool weather - light in weight, warm and quick drying. My only complaint (and the only reason I rated this product as a 3 vs 5) is that the fit / cut around the neck is a bit off. The opening is pretty wide (unlike the image on the website), definitely wider than it needs to be. I have a 16.5" neck and went for the xl size (which fit great overall except for the drafty 24" neck opening!).(Posted on 7/17/12)
