Overall I have these combined with the HardBite on my boa boots. I walked on dry smooth rock and submerged smooth rock and no slips. Love em!(Posted on 7/19/12)

Overall I really like the way these aluminum studs bite. They grip very well and tend to dig in a little better than harder materials. Not as loud as the old nail type studs I used in the past.(Posted on 7/19/12)

Overall I put these on a pair of Boa boots and found the answer to all my wading problems. I now stick to the stream bed instead of sliding. MUCH better than carbide or even felt. Ya, they may wear faster than carbide. But, they stick. Simms is on to something here. Put some on and go where no one has gone before.(Posted on 7/16/12)
