Overall My review after 3 months of use wading inshore in SW FL.
Common Bottom Conditions:
- Sand
- Loose Shell
- Sticky Mud
- Lime Stone
- Edges of Oyster Bars
Most trips inshore here in Pine Island Sound require sometime in the water. Chasing redfish and snook deep in the back country sticks your feet into a variety of conditions. The Zipit Bootie II have done a great job keeping my feet safe and keeping shells and debris out. Very comfortable for extended wear and reasonably cool in Florida heat. (I will normally unzip them when running from spot to spot).
From the ankle up, the bootie is a nice, tight fit. It's great for staying on your foot in nasty mud and keeping shells rocks out at the same time.
I try my best to avoid walking through oyster bars, as these little grey razor blades will chop up any shoe, but with careful exposure, the exterior doesn't show any tears or rips.
Highly recommended for Florida wading.

Overall I recently bought these for surf fishing in Central CA (and wherever else I fish these next few years) - they are fantastic. Comfy for my flat feet and very lightweight - exactly what I was looking for.(Posted on 2/25/13)
