Overall Fit is great for me. I use it for an extra layer if its cold out while fishing or it even looks good enough to wear to the bar after. There is no spandex in the fabric so I would not expect it to stretch at all. If you want a compression type fit go for the guide sweater.(Posted on 4/27/13)

Overall This Sweater has become my favorite Sweater. It keeps me warm, has great fit and lots of comfort. I highly recommend it for both fly fishing and to wear just to keep warm in cold conditions. Simply a great Sweater, and i´m gonna get another one for sure :-)(Posted on 10/9/12)

Overall I absolutely agree with JT Flyfisher on this item. The body is small in the chest and shoulders. The sleeves are awkward and large by comparison. Unlike the Guide Fleece Top which I also own, this material doesn't stretch. Lack of stretchand the tight fit through the shoulders restricts movement. On my sweater, the seams are sloppy and the logo is askew. I own several other Simms products. This one doesn't live up to their typical high quality.(Posted on 7/17/12)

Overall This is a two part review. Overall the Rivershed Sweater Half Zip is a quality product. From a casual perspective- it looks and feels great! Great layering or casual top on a cold day. From a technical perspective- the sleeves are loose so the cuffs fold under to the inside of the sweater which can be bothersome. The sweater is very warm and comfortable and there is zero doubt it won’t keep you warm on those cold river days. Slightly overpriced.(Posted on 7/17/12)

Overall Very disappointed in the fit on the style. The sleeves are very baggy and flare-out towards to wrists. I own other Simms Fleece Sweaters and they are great. Do not purchase this style.(Posted on 7/17/12)
