Machine wash warm, gentle cycle, hang dry.
The Foundation's Seal of Recommendation is granted to sun protection products that have been reviewed by and meet the stringent criteria of an independent Photobiology Committee. One of the first programs offered by the Foundation, it quickly gained acceptance from consumers for setting the standard for effective sun protection with sunscreen products, sunglasses, specially treated auto and residential window film, umbrellas, clothing and laundry products that wash UV protection into clothing. To earn the Seal of Recommendation, a manufacturer must provide scientific data showing that its product sufficiently and safely “aids in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin.” The data are reviewed by a volunteer committee of photobiologists – experts in the study of the interaction between ultraviolet radiation and the skin. At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
- Lightweight but that is what I wanted Review by Sunsensitive
OverallI have sun sensitivity on my hands. I needed something to cover them when driving long distances with Texas sun. These glovers seem to do it. I would not even think of fishing with them as the slime and blood from a fish would be all they could take in my opinion. But they are good for what I wanted. Consider them pricey for what you get.

- Great product Review by Bassm1n
OverallThis is a great product. Cut outs are in all the right places to use casting rods for bass. Just got back from a week in Florida fishing. Kept my hands cool and protected. Easy to fish with and grip the rod. Highly recommend.

- yeah or neah? Review by David - Wyoming
OverallI like these SunGloves except for the fact that they are not very durable. Using them all summer on nearly a daily basis I tore two pair just removing them from my hands. The seam between the fore finger and the 2nd and 3rd fingers is way to meager and fragile. That portion needs to be re-designed. Other than that I like the material and the lightness plus the snap button is nice in helping keep them together so you're not constantly looking for a "lost glove". Also, the length is better than some other brands that come up short and you're having to put sunscreen on 2" of arm between your sleeve and the glove. Man, they sure can accumulate odor even when washed frequently.
