Sportswear Product Care
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use mild detergent. Gentle cycle. Do not use fabric softeners. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not iron.
Products using the COR3™ Technology fabric finish have a UPF rating of 30 or greater, properties to minimize odor and outstanding wicking performance for important moisture management. The anti-odor finish helps control odors caused by a wide range of microorganisms (mold, mildew, algae, yeast) is compatible with virtually all fabrics. All of our performance cotton clothing utilizing COR3™ also feature COR3™ EZ. The "EZ" means easy care and indicates that garments featuring this treatment will travel well and resist wrinkles.
At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
- I need to buy more! Review by Irishman
OverallGreat well fitting shirt with built in sun screen. I use this shirt to fish and also works as a great light running shirt. I especially appreciate the neck being higher in the back of the shirt for more protection. As usual you guys think of everything.

- Really like it Review by Ben
OverallThis shirt feels great, fits well, and works. Kept me cool in 90+ degree sun while tarpon fishing and still looked good enough to wear for lunch after fishing.

- Great quality, small neckhole Review by Trevor
OverallThis shirt was a great buy, and as a professional mate, I'll be buying more. Everything is clean and obviously of the highest quality. I've tried many brands in the past, and up until now, Columbia had been my favorite for 'performance' long sleeve fishing t-shirts. In Columbia (and most brands), I take a medium. For this Solarflex shirt, I need an extra large. And even at that size, the neckhole is extremely small. Like "almost feels like it's going to rip when pulling it over my head" small. Only occasionally do I notice the small neck size throughout the day, but it can be minorly annoying. And I understand, it's for added sun protection. But if you wear a buff like me, it doesn't matter anyways. Overall, a great shirt. It would be a five star if not for the small neck hole and high collar.

- GREAT SHIRT!!! Review by Spider
OverallSoft, cool, light, versatile & comfortable. I'm picky about material that aren't all cotton, but I love this shirt! I live in So Cal where sun exposure is a constant issue. I wear this all the time, to the beach, events, anytime, protects me from the sun. I wear it over a T shirt for a little extra layer. I wear it out to restaurants, because its a nice looking. I am about to reorder a couple more of these. Totally satisfied with this product. I hope Simms has not changed the cut or material in the last couple of years - a Large was perfect for me 6'0" 175 lbs.

- Fit and Material are spot-on Review by Matt
OverallI've probably clocked somewhere around 50-60 days in this shirt and so far I love it. Finding a good fishing shirt has been a bit of chore for me since I have a somewhat slim build and don't like my shirts baggy enough to fit an extra person into. This one is about the best I've used. Slim enough to keep you from snagging constantly but not too tight either. The sleeves would probably be a bit on the tight side for someone with big arms but if you spend that much time in the gym pumping iron you're probably not wasting your time fishing anyway. Another big plus on the design is the collar. It's a bit tighter and taller than most collar-less shirts which is nice because it keeps you from having that little gap between your buff/sungaiter on those sunny days when you need it. The material is light, comfortable, and dries very quickly.
