- So much room! Review by Andrew Malek

Overall So I got this vest at the start of the summer fishing season this year and let me tell you it is by far the best vest i have ever owned. With all my other vests I always had problems with storage, either they didnt have enough pockets, not big enough pockets, or just bad location of pockets. With this vest I never had any problems, it was almost hard to fill up all of the pockets. The big seller for me was the fact that I can keep a light jacket on the back pocket for the chilly montana mornings. Buy this vest!(Posted on 11/8/12)

Overall As a member of the National France's Team of fly fishing during many and many years. During this time we won more cup than any other country even today. After 7 times world championship of fly-fishing (FFF )and dozen times on the podium i was glad because i didn't run for any big name but now i'm off from the tour, but let me tell you something i got hundred of outfit/rod and gear for free from many companies but the only jacket that i wear is my lovely G3 jacket for continental climate and my "Mesh" for warm weather. 30 years of intense fly fishing all around the globe freshwater as well as saltwater i can say to anyone if you want to safe money and look great buy the right stuff to keep that for many years to come that's why i buy Simms only:)(Posted on 8/17/12)

- Good vest Review by Tassie99 - Tasmania

Overall I love my fly vest. Comfortable, heaps of pockets reliable zippers. I would like to see drainage holes in the lower pokets. When I wade in deep water the lower pockets fill up with water and don't drain easily.(Posted on 7/16/12)

Overall Har i mit fiskeliv (48 år) haft 3 veste før denne.
[translation by Simms: In my fish life (48 years) I have had 3 jackets before this. Bought the vest today and spent the afternoon to review the vest. Zippers are the most perfect I have experienced. Fit, pockets and availability are absolutely top notch. I do not think there is currently anything on the market that is better. Thank you to Simms.](Posted on 7/16/12)

- G3 Giude Vest Review by ICHItheKILLER

Overall I took a while on deciding to buy this vest, the cost was a major factor. This vest is light and feels great on when empty, I haven't filled all of the pockets yet, the pockets have plenty of room, there's so many. Even with some weight to the vest it feels good. I like that there's so many pockets and everything is not a hassle to reach for. So many features in a small vest! Love it!(Posted on 7/16/12)
- Best Vest Ever! Review by 37 Angler

Overall I looked at this vest for a long time before getting it. Wow..... I dont know how I ever fished without it. It's like it was designed just for me. There is so much room but at the same time it keeps everything close and out of the way like the snap up rod holder and the magnets to hold my tools out of the way while not in use.. I really like how it is shorter than my previous vests which allows me to wade deeper and keep my gear dry. It also spreads the load out so I can fish all day and forget I am even wearing it. This vest easily hilds 3 times the gear as my previous one. The built in tippet tenders are also extremely convienent. This is truly the vests of all vests and I know it will last me a lifetime. If you are on the fence with this one don't be. Buy it! You won't regret it!(Posted on 7/16/12)
- A Moving Van Review by FlyGyd

Overall Too much storage space is never enough. This vest has plenty of storage. With all that storage come weight. The G3 handles it well. It's very comfortable across the shoulders and balances the load very nicely. I'd like to see pockets that won't hold water. Water can get in the pockets quickly if you wade too deep but then it doesn't drain out. I'm thinking of melting some holes in the bottom of the pockets. I have several vests but use this one guiding as well as fishing on my own. You know it's good when your still comfortable at the end of a long day with less than skilled clients.
