- Awesome But Not Backwards Compatible with Day Pack Review by Aaron

Overall Received mine in the mail today and can't wait to try it out. It has enough space to hold my 2 fly boxes, leader, tippet, floatant and more. My only complaint is the magnetic straps do not make this chest pack compatible with my Day Pack which is barely over a year old.. Additionally the clips it does have are not compatible either. If you're using an older model day pay, you may want to find a compatible version of the chest pack for better integration. Overall, this is exactly what I wanted.(Posted on 3/13/13)

Overall I agree with Rob P's comment: Simms should have included a ring on the neck strap for a net attachement. Fortunately, my wife is handy with a sewing machine, so we added some nylon webbing and d-ring. I always use a waistpack with a water bottle separately, so I don't find water bottle an issue. If you want that in a chest pack, you probably need to get a hydration pack with Camelback-type bladder and tube. Overall, very solid product, lots of space, comfortable.(Posted on 2/13/13)
- a lot of space! but... Review by Rob P - utah

Overall This is a nice pack. The organization inside the compartments is really cool, and I've got a bunch of different boxes of varying sizes in mine, all without compromising organization for all the little doodads found in the pack. I wish Simms would address the water bottle issues on their smaller packs. Of the many I've owned none seem to adequately hold a water bottle, and this pack doesn't break that mold. Additionally if they would put a ring on the shoulder strap for a net carrabeaner that would be great. Overall it's a great pack, with a ton of convenient features, just wish it had a few more,(Posted on 7/16/12)
