GORE-TEX® Wader Care:
The #1 tip to prolonging the life of a wader is drying your waders. It is important to dry your waders out after each use. We recommend drying the inside first (if damp) and then the outside. When drying the outside you can pull your gravel guards up until the feet are dry and then flip them down to dry the rest of the wader
Washing - Use a front load machine or hand wash. Use cold water and normal detergent that does not contain bleach. Once you have washed the waders make sure you dry them properly start by drying the inside first. Never put your waders in the dryer, the heat will adversely affect the seam tape on your waders and will void your warranty.
Fit - We offer more sizes than anyone, a good fit goes a long way to extending the life of your wader. Make it clear that people should use their exact measurements as we have already provided extra room for layering and movement.
General Care - Do not store inside your car for long periods of time excess heat will damage your waders.
Use A Mat - Always put your waders on using a protective mat to shield the neoprene feet from rocks. The Headwaters gear bag for example has a pull out mat that works great for this.
Proper Layering - Do not wear jeans under your waders. Jeans are highly abrasive wearing on your waders from the inside out. More importantly jeans and sweatpants do not transfer moisture away from the body. Use proper layering (to view our layering collection, go here). Using layers such as these will help wick moisture away from your body and assist in the waders ability to breathe.
Stains - most stain removers will work fine on our waders. As long as the stain remover does not contain bleach you should be o.k.

These pores are so small that water droplets cannot get through but water vapor can still escape. Overall Fantastic fit made for ladies. Look good enough to catch salmon in!! First season in G3 and first two outings really impressed as felt very warm and durable. If had more belt loops (as on men's) then would be just perfect.

Overall I've been wearing the G3's this guide season for fall steelhead fishing and the waders rock! The fit is complimenting and durable as the guys waders. The 3 layer Gor-tex is tough for walking through brush and provides enough insulation for winter fishing. You'll be happy!(Posted on 12/13/12)

Overall I think I lived in these this past season, and they managed to hold up while busting through alders, sliding down banks, kneeling on rocks, and being subjected to other various forms of abuse. The biggest surprise was that they were substantially warmer than other waders I've worn, which made early- and late-season fishing here in interior Alaska a lot less unpleasant. In warmer weather it was easy to just drop the suspenders, lower the top, and let the belt hold them up. The only things I can think of that I'd like to see changed are really pretty trivial: 1) two belt loops would be a big improvement over just one, and 2) I'd like a D-ring in the chest pocket to lash keys, etc., to. But overall, these have been outstanding. Our season ended in mid-October but I'm looking forward to beating the crap out of them in 2013. They've proven they can take it.(Posted on 12/13/12)

Overall I love my Women's G3 Guide Waders! After a season of guiding, they are still going strong. I am very happy with the women's fit on these waders made for the everyday abuse of guiding. With all the size options, I have the correct sized feet with the adequate leg length, won't find that anywhere else. They are very breathable and the 5 layer Gore-Tex provides enough protection in the legs for walking a couple miles in the sagebrush with no pin holes. The handwarmer pocket is great for Fall fishing and I appreciate the extra pocket on the inside. Thank you Simms for a Women's fit G3 wader!(Posted on 11/8/12)

Overall These waiters are bomb-proof. I freakin' love my G3s. Frigid February fishing, no problem. Trudging through streamside alder and willow, nothing to it. The women's specific fit means you're comfortable all day whether it be on the hike in, in the water or rowing the boat. They have nice pocket action too.
