Women's Wading Boot Size Chart
To allow proper room for the neoprene stockingfoot, find your regular shoe size in the right-hand columns and order the corresponding Simms Boot in the first or second column. This will typically be one size up from your normal shoe size when selecting a women's boot and one size down when selecting a men's boot (ie: a women's USA size 8 would take a men's boot size 7).

- Product Care
Footwear Care:
For proper cleaning of your footwear to descrease the likelihood of spreading Aquatic Invasive Species, please reference our CleanStream™ page.
If using in saltwater always clean and rinse to prevent corrosion.
Use a brush to remove dust and dirt. Choose an old vegetable brush or toothbrush. For maximum thoroughness, remove laces prior to cleaning. Use specialized boot cleaner, saddle soap or maybe a mild dishwashing soap with luke-warm water.
Do not use bar soap or detergents.
Do not place wet boots close to a heat source (fireplace, campfire, wood stove, radiator, heater, sunny windowsill) as this can weaken adhesives and cause materials to become brittle or shrink.
Dry using natural methods (air dry) and try to keep them out of the sun for long periods of time. Boots dry faster when positioned upside-down. If desired, stuff a sheet or two of newspaper into each boot to absorb moisture. Change the paper each hour.
If you see any mold on your boots, brush in a mixture of 80% water and 20% vinegar.
Over time the use of leather conditioners may provide increased water repellency and can prevent cracking and drying of the leather.
Store footwear in a place where temperatures are stable and normal. Do not store footwear in attics, garages, car trunks or any unventilated spaces.
Never put footwear in washing machine.

CleanStream™ is a design philosophy that runs through our line of wading footwear. While not specific to a product feature, this designation does indicate that the product includes features and/or materials that are more resistant to "hitch-hiking" organisms – have less exposed stitching, fewer ridges & pockets and utilize non-absorbent materials – all making the boots easier to inspect, clean and dry faster. All of these elements assist anglers in doing their part to prevent the spread of invasive species. For more information, please visit our CleanStream™ page or these organizations: www.cleanangling.org, www.protectyourwaters.net or www.tu.org.

The StreamTread™ sole featuring Vibram® technology is exclusive to Simms. Co-developed with Vibram®, the leader in sole technology, StreamTread™ provides two distinct advantages compared to other soles. One is a patented 360-degree lug pattern that cuts through moss and mud. The second is a proprietary mix of rubber compounds that offer super grippy traction, are extremely easy to clean and ensure that the boots don’t collect a lot of debris.
-
Vibram® soles are built from the bottom up and are designed to overcome very specific obstacles on a variety of terrains. Vibram® invests heavily in research and development of products never overlooking even the most minute detail. Vibram® soles boast innovative compounds and technical sole patterns, specifically developed to meet the challenges of many different environments and applications. www.vibram.us

Schoeller® NanoSphere® - the nanotech-based finishing technology allows dirt and water to simply run off the surface of the textiles. This mimics the natural self-cleaning effect of certain plants whose leaves always remain clean, because dirt simply cannot adhere to the finely structured surface, and is easily washed off when it rains.

Overall Awesome boots! I agree, thank you Simms for coming out with some women's wading boots! They are a great fit! Have had mine for almost two years now. Lots of wear and no tear! I think you should come out with other designs & colors too!(Posted on 1/6/13)
- Sizing Review by Bait

Overall A note on sizing: It looks like Simms has incorporated a full 2 size increase (in US shoe sizes) to this product. Most wader boot reviews suggest ordering a larger size than you actually wear so that you have room for wool socks and neoprene booties, but I would not recommend that for these boots. The Women's US size 7 boots that I ordered have fine print on the side of the box indicating that they are actually women's size 9! This came as quite a surprise to me so my boots are far from a perfect fit (stuffed with thick insoles to save me $100 in return/exchange shipping costs). Simms should really be advertising this on their product page so that buyers can plan in advance. Otherwise, top quality boot!
[From Simms]A note on the sizing. We do have both men's and women's sizing on the packaging for our men's boots. It is possible you received the men's Headwaters Boot, which would show a 2 size difference between men's and women's. If that is not the case, please email us at info[at]simmsfishing.com.(Posted on 7/16/12)
- I'm happy Review by Melinda

Overall These are somewhat lighter than I'd like for a boot in which I'm doing a lot of hiking, and they don't provide much arch support for my aging feet (inserts take care of that) but they're pretty good overall. They dry fast and they're comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe for slightly oversized wader booties (ahem). I agree that adding a speed lacing hook in the ankle would be an improvement. I can cinch them down without them but it's more work. A slightly longer tongue might make it easier to tighten up the ankle without ending up with the lace under the tongue, which occasionally happens. I think these boots are fine and certainly are a good value, although I'm looking forward to Simms bringing out a sturdier boot for women.(Posted on 7/16/12)
- Not great Review by Georgina

Overall This boot doesn't fit my feet well at all, despite it's tag as a 'women's boot'. I bought a pair based on Simms' reputation for quality products but I am very disappointed with these boots. I find them extremely uncomfortable, particularly around the achilles - I cannot wear them for more than an hour, which is clearly not good when you're wading in streams.(Posted on 7/16/12)
- Good Women's boot Review by KD

Overall These boots are great lightweight boots for women. They don't have strong ankle support which is a downside, but after researching for months for the right boot, I think this is a great boot. I was told to go up a size but it was big and exchanged for my normal shoe size which fits much better.(Posted on 7/16/12)
- Junk for Women Review by FauxFlat

Overall These boots have little to no ankle support, no speed lacing hooks at the ankles and the eyelets fall out. Unfortunately, Simms continues to provide the quality products only for men.(Posted on 7/16/12)
- Best Boots! Review by Teal Cutter Basile

Overall It is so nice to finally have a wading boot that fits a woman's foot the way it should. They are so light weight and comfortable both in and out of the water. I have had my boots for two years and I still love to put them on!(Posted on 7/16/12)
