Wearing this mid-height hiker gives me added stability with total waterproof protection. The non-marking sole means I can go from the boat to the Lodge and I don’t have to change shoes to meet everyone at the steakhouse tonight.

I bought these boots at a fly shop while on a trip to Utah's Green River. Tried them on at the shop, walked around inside for a minute, and everything felt great. I Wore them out of the store, and all was well for about 30 minutes. The top of the back of the boots were starting to dig into my legs really badly. I tried adjusting the laces, tightening, loosening, you name it. Nothing helped. It became so irritating that I had to just take the boots off. The next day I decided to give it another try. Maybe they just needed a little break in, right? Wrong. After two days all I had was some tender, painful spots on my legs and some overpriced boots that I can't even wear. I've bought many Simms products over the years, and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed.
I rated these boots 1 star because even though there is only one problem I had this product, it's a big enough problem that has made them completely useless to me (and now I'm out $140+tax.) For that kind of money, I would expect a much better fit.
