The Hoody I wear on the job is just right for a few late afternoon casts in the canyon on the way home. I just throw a small fly box in the chest pocket and I’m fishing in minutes.

Ive seen this hoody on this site for a long time before I finally bought it in Bozeman, MT. I searched every store but all everyone had was the camo one. Finally I went to the Bozeman Angler and they personally went down to the Simms outlet and got me a coal one for me, Awesome service! So after i picked it up and we hit the Gallatin and tryed it out. Its warm, light weight, unrestrictive, water resistant, and looks amazing! So if your like me and look at something for months before getting it, just go out and buy it now and you will not be disappointed!

Got a great deal on this hoody at a local fly shop. i am overly impressed with this hoody, it looks and fits great. i can just trow it on to go to dinner and not need another jacket or fish all day in the snow with a soft shell over this and be plenty warm. the only complaint i have is that seam on the cuff is coming apart. but other than that i get complements on the hoody all the time from people, and i can put up with a small blemish for a great product that sees a lot of use.

Fished this hoody for 2 days of cold snowy weather and was dry the whole time. Layered with a fleece and was warm all day. Fits on the long side so you may want to order a size down if your going to wear it as street wear. I like the long length for rowing as it doesn't ride up under my waders when pulling the anchor. I was surprised at the water resistance of this hoody. Like I said it does fit on the long size so you may want a size down for casual wear.

I personally own a dozen windstopper type jackets from Simms and other manufactures. This Jacket is by far the best I have used, with the longer style it's under the waders use is much more comfortable and simply WORKS like we want it to. The slick outer shell allows for great layering with the Simms rain jackets. By far the most comfortable and efficient jacket to date.
