I have been using these on my boots for almost two weeks now, wading all the spots where I normally slip around in the spring due to a winters worth of silt and slime collection due to low river flows. They screw in easily, making placement of the aluminum cleats a snap. These AlumiBite cleats are simply amazing. They grip and grab slime covered rocks better than any other cleats I've ever had. With other cleats/spikes I've had in the past, there is a small amount of slipping, making you feel unstable. With these, those days are gone. If you fish anywhere where slime covered bottoms keep you guessing on every step, these are a must.
