I bought a medium pair, 5'10" and 180# and no gut.The draw string locking device is the same that I use on my decoy line. Works great for my tangle-free decoys but is worthless on my wader pants. I have tied knots in the drawstring to limit the amount of slippage but this has not helped. I am trying to figure out a way to replace that thing , any suggestions ? I am the guy carrying his waders to the truck with his wader pants around his ankles...you can't miss me. I am not moving very fast.

Very warm. I use these in the winter with simms heavy socks and waderwick pants underneath. The whole setup keeps me warm all day. Best part of these is the cuffs. They don't ride up when you put your waders on which is a pet peeve in other fleece pants not designed to be worn under waders.

I just took receipt of several Simms products and am very pleased with the overall quality, fit, and sizing. However after wearing around the house several times I would seriously recommend Simms change the draw string design. For the price of the Guide Fleece Pant the draw string should stay in place when set. It does not and has a tendency loosen quickly. The result is obvious and for now I will need to use a clip on set of suspenders under the waders.

A very comfortable pant to wear even around the house or after a long day on the water. The drawstring lock does not hold at the desired tightness and needs to be adjustment every time you bend over or sit down. It gets to be annoying after a while but the pant is so comfortable I still enjoy wearing them, I wouldn't buy another pair unless the lock is replaced.

I agree comfortable, warm and well made. Also agree the spring lock devise for the waist drawstring does NOT work and needs to be upgraded. It does NOT hold its position and consequently the waist band can NOT be snugged properly. Therefore the pant is looser than I would prefer it to be. Not so much an issue under my G3 waders but after fishing, should I choose to stop for food and a beer???? Not as secure as I'd like.

Very comfortable and warm. The only problem I have with mine is the spring lock device for the waist drawstring, it does not hold the drawstring in place when I pull it tighter, other then that I would buy these again and again.
