Great shirt. It is light weight and looks great. The zippered pockets are perfect to put my sunglasses in when it is getting dark. I dont have to worry about them falling out. I put my phone in the other pocket. This works out for me. Simms, keep up the good work.

As a guide I need a shirt that's going to be functional, presentable and durable. There's no sense in buying shirts that look great for the first 10 days on your back only to end up as the bilge rag after only a few washes. This shirt holds up to the test. It is light-weight and cool, yet extremely durable. I've worn it both in hot and cool weather (with a base layer) and found it to be extremely comfortable. The fit is excellent. For the average angler this shirt will hold up for years and still look like new.

They say 50% of all marriages end after five years, 100% of my Simms Guide Shirts have all lasted five years!
The Simms Guide Shirt is the most functional, well designed and durable fishing shirt on the market. Just ordered a another one. My other five lasted so long that I finally outgrew them-gone from a medium to a large. To many Moose Drools, I guess.
PS> I miss the old mustard yellow color. Please bring it back.

As a guide, I spend lots of time on the water and the south Texas heat is brutal. I have guide shirts from several other brand name companies, and they're good shirts. But, none breathe like these. These Guide shirts make those hot days much more comfortable.
If you have a different brand, just buy one of these to compare the comfort level. You will be impressed!
