I just got the waders. They are super well made and work great. They fit better than any other waders I've tried and they are built like a tank. Don't listen to the negative reviews on here. I have researched several different kinds/brands and these are the best deal around. Goretex at an affordable price, you can't go wrong with Simms!

I've had these waders since Spring 2009. Very comfortable and I put in a lot of time fishing. I've had a lot of issues at the seams where the reinforced layer meet the regular layer. In the colder temps I always seem to get small tears at these seams as the thicker layer seems to crease and tear the thinner layer. I didn't send mine back for warranty as I didn't want to wait as I fish often. Aquaseal worked for a bit, but for the last 8 or 9 months I am always a little wet somewhere. My friend got these waders and has had similar problems and he got his in 2010. Usually really pleased with Simms Gear. This particular wader, not so much.

I've had these waders since the summer of 2010. They've been the best I've owned, and I've had quite a bit over the years. They've held up very well. They are comfortable and have had no issues with the comfort of them.

I bought these waders locally in April. I ended up with 2 crotch leaks, three leg leaks and multiple pinholes. They were sent back for repairs in October, and when they were returned, I inflated them and found more. They didn't hold up near as well as a simple Cabela's wader at half the price.
[From Simms]Thanks Randy: Sorry for your unfortunate experience. If you would like Simms to take another look at your waders, we would be pleased to. Please visit our repair site or email us at repairs@simmsfishing.com to get your repair process started.

I was looking to buy my first set of Simms waders this summer and I decided to go with the Headwaters. With many long days and hikes on the river I'm impressed. They are comfortable, sized great for me, always the right temperature, and the build quality on my waders are exceptional. Overall I'm happy to say that Simms has lived up to there name for making high quality products and ill be happy to put many years in the water in my Simms.
Room for improvement: More belt loops, and better clips on the lace hooks.

These are very comfortable, durable and affordable waders. I have used them extensively on the Miramichi River this summer and they hold up well against rocks, logs and hiking through the woods.
One suggestion for Simms: please install more than one belt-loop so belts don't accidentally disappear at the start or end of the day.
