I purchased this vest assuming I would be sacrificing room and features for being cool. Wow, was I surprised at the number of pockets, the amount of storage space, and the many other great features. I used this vest for 12 days of fishing on the Bow River, never missed my old vest, and stayed cool and comfortable. After using this vest for a few days, I even found an additional inside zippered pocket I had not seen before that was great for sunglasses.
