An excellent technical layering option for colder days on the river - it also doubles as a comfortable outer layer for casual wear.

I absolutely agree with JT Flyfisher on this item. The body is small in the chest and shoulders. The sleeves are awkward and large by comparison. Unlike the Guide Fleece Top which I also own, this material doesn't stretch. Lack of stretchand the tight fit through the shoulders restricts movement.
On my sweater, the seams are sloppy and the logo is askew. I own several other Simms products. This one doesn't live up to their typical high quality.

This is a two part review. Overall the Rivershed Sweater Half Zip is a quality product. From a casual perspective- it looks and feels great! Great layering or casual top on a cold day. From a technical perspective- the sleeves are loose so the cuffs fold under to the inside of the sweater which can be bothersome. The sweater is very warm and comfortable and there is zero doubt it won’t keep you warm on those cold river days. Slightly overpriced.

Very disappointed in the fit on the style.
The sleeves are very baggy and flare-out towards to wrists. I own other Simms Fleece Sweaters and they are great.
Do not purchase this style.
