Jim and Jessie Oliver of Hitaluga Guide Service credited their "first dry season" to their Simms gear. They wrote, "While it may rain for a day in some fishing locations, a solid week can be the norm here in Alaska. We spent the first 4 weeks of our 2007 season with continual rain - while great for the river levels, not so great for morale. As a father-daughter Alaskan guide team, our job is not only to put fish on our guests’ fly but also to keep their spirits up during week long wet periods, so having a our own spirits high was helped this season from our lineup of Simms gear. As you can see from the attached photo, our waders, jackets and gloves all helped keep a smile on our faces."
