Our AlumiBite™ Star Cleats work directly with our StreamTread™ lug pattern for traction you can trust on varied river bottoms and mossy rocks. The cleats are soft enough to conform to what's under your foot as you move along the unseen river bottom. With solid footing, your cast is better and you're free to explore the river.

Nothing works better on Fraser and Thompson River rocks. For tough hiking and safety along the wet/dry transition, nothing works better.
The tungsten carbide cleats are prone to skating across the rocks. I stopped using them. Using them in combination is risky.
