Primaloft® Gold Insulation Down Blend Care:

Machine Wash Cold, Gentle Cycle
Do not Bleach
Tumble Dry Low with 2 clean tennis balls, Remove Promtly from Dryer
Ensure garment is thoroughly dry before removing it from dryer
Do not Iron
Do not Dry Clean

When your down garment has lost it’s loftiness it is recommended that this garment be washed.  Although necessary, it is best to do it as sparingly as possible.  Use a front load washing machine and a down specific detergent such as ReviveX Down Cleaner Concentrate.  Use warm water on permanent press or gentle cycle and rinse twice to ensure all cleaner has been removed.

Remove excess water with a towel by patting dry.  Dry the down garment on low heat with two clean tennis balls to help regain loft.  If you don’t have any you can substitute heavy socks rolled up.  It is very important that you dry your down garment entirely which may take upwards of 2 to 3 hours.  Your down garment will not regain its loft until it is fully dry.  Store unstuffed in a dry place.

  1. Excellent jacket

    100%

This top is the perfect anwser for fishing those super cold and windy days. The downstream jacket has been a go-to for me. Running the boat in frigid temperatures, fishing from dark to dark, you name it; this piece will keep you toasty warm, and most importantly, it blocks out every bit of wind. The adjustable hood has been a great feature; there's a soft lining on the inside of the top of the zipper which makes it very comfortable and prevents any cold air intrusion. All in all its been a home run, Its a nice top to even wear around town. I'm 5'11" 150lbs and went with a medium. It fits very well, if anything, theres a little restriction in the arm pit area if im wearing a heavier mid layer. Outside of that it fits very well; I highly recommend this jacket.
  2. Warm...Comfy...Light

    100%

Hands down the best cold weather jacket I have ever owned. Extremely light and packable, super comfortable and Toasty Warm! This jacket really keeps the weather off of you. Front chest pocket is nice and deep to allow plenty of room for a fly box or other items. Great hood and waist adjustment for the perfect fit. If you are considering this....don't hesitate it's worth it! My picky non fishing wife tried it on and then she ordered one the next day!
  3. Great jacket

    80%

This is a very nice jacket, it has become my go to for cold weather fishing or just daily outdoor chores, like getting the boat ready for fishing. The fit is a bit large so I ordered the next size smaller and it fits great, it’s light weight and comfort makes it easy to wear all day, keeps the wind and rain out as well. I highly recommend this jacket for those blustery days on the river.
  4. Well-designed coat that really keeps you warm

    100%

Late fall steelhead fishing in Alaska can be downright nasty, frigid, and miserable, and I made a really wise decision to purchase/bring this coat with me this season... I was impressed with its light weight and lack of bulkiness -- it fit comfortably beneath my rain jacket, and I never felt hampered nor constrained while casting non-stop for hours all day (even when it was worn atop several layers). The outer material deflected the gale force winds, and didn't get soaked by the icy downpours that suddenly appeared when I was sans rain protection. Most important, it did a great job of keeping me toasty warm (even after a dunking in the icy water), and I especially liked the well-sized hood, which didn't hang over my eyes and obscure my vision (= my biggest issue with most of these garments). I'm looking forward to many years of fishing with my DownStream jacket!
