  1. Great Waterproof pack!!

Have been using this pack for Salt / Steelhead trips this year, and wanted 100% waterproof pack. I prefer roll-top over zippers, and have not had any issues with keeping it 100% dry, and this pack has been fully submerged and out in a heavy all day rain. Only water drops that get in is when i have it open to grab something and it's raining, but i figured same would apply to zippered packs. Interior organization has some pro's n con's depending how you prefer your packs. Because i use this pack for different trips (Salt vs Fresh) my fly boxes range in size (Xsml to Lrg) and different accessories, so i actually really like having just a single large compartment. Pack does have 5 small organization pockets on the inside (2 mesh on one side + 2mesh /large zippered on other side) i found them to perfectly fit: leader packs, 2 to 3 spools of tippet per pocket, SplitShot dispensers/indicator packs. Pack's waist system is very comfortable, i usually load it up with Fly boxes, Water bottle, snack bars, etc, and so far i really like that firm molded foam waist system. Only thing worth noting: front zippered pocked, while is water repellent to some degree, if you fish in all day rain or submerge it like i have, you will get little water penetrating in there, so i just keep things that i don't mind if they get wet. Huge bonus: cleaning this pack especially after Salt water trip is super easy, i just take everything out and rinse it inside and out, inside mesh pocket will dry super quick if you leave it open for a bit at home after washing it. Highly recommend this pack if you want a mid size WaterProof pack that is not very expensive when compared to Zippered WP packs.
  2. Quality and Size

This bag is a perfect size for the tackle that I have. I am able to fit 3-4 small tackle boxes with all of my beads, cranks, floats and jigs. As well as pouches for my tools and line. I really like the material that it is made of as well
  3. When it was waterproof I loved it.

After about three trips using this bag it developed a hole in the on the edge of the bag and because of the loaction it is nearly impossible for me to patch on my own. It isnt ripped by anything other than the weak part of the grid like waterproof material. If it would've been as durable as marketed it would have been a great item. Unfortunately, either it is not as durable or I just ogt one that was defective.
  4. Dry Inside after three days of rain

I used this bag in three days of rain in upstate NY for lake run browns and steelhead and love it, everything inside was bone dry. It's simple but offers interior pockets for organization. It easily holds all of my fly boxes, terminal tackle, gloves, beanie, drink, sunglasses case, and extra layer. It sits well and there's no stretch to the waist, which bears weight nicely. The fly patch is a nice addition, as is the port for tools. There could be 'extras' to make it better but if you want a simple and fully waterproof bag that can stand up to a day of hard rain/snow, this is it.
