Logistics Manager

The Simms organization is growing and we’re looking to fill the Logistics Manager position. This is a full-time, in-house role based in Bozeman, Montana.

In this role, you must be ready to manage the entire worldwide logistics process to deliver products to customers on time and at a competitive cost.

The role of the Logistics Manager is to monitor quality, cost, and efficiency of both the movement and storage of inventory, supplies and materials. This position is responsible for management of the entire worldwide logistics process to deliver products to customers on time and at a competitive cost. The role also includes management of all logistics providers, US Customs compliance and Simms’ internal warehouse team.

Outcomes of this role include:

  • Deliver products to customer on time and at a competitive cost
  • Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
  • Manage all importing and exporting shipment processes including HTS code development, US Customs compliance, duty drawbacks, and all other regulatory requirements
  • Improve processes to insure a high level of inventory accuracy, inventory security, efficiency and safety
  • Reduce freight costs by negotiating rates with logistics providers and continuing to improve internal operations
  • Create an engaged culture
  • Communicate changes, delays, problem resolution in an efficient and timely manner
  • Define packaging requirements and guidelines for all shipments including master box size analysis
  • Lead logistics and space planning including 3PL reviews

ERP Administrator II

The Simms organization is growing and we’re looking to fill the ERP Administrator II position. This is a full-time, in-house position based in Bozeman, Montana.

In this role, you will be an experienced contributor on the IT team and will be responsible for the functionality, support, and optimization of the Simms MS Dynamics Navision ERP applications environments.

The role will work closely with both technical and business staff to maintain a high performing optimized technology environment that drives process improvement.

Outcomes of this role include:

  • Maintains a reliable, stable, up-to-date, high performance Dynamics/ERP environment
  • Effectively translates business rules, requirements, and BI needs into concrete and meaningful information for the business
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to optimize and improve business process flows

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems management, computer science, or other technical field
  • 3+ years’ administration/development experience and a strong understand of ERP systems and their application to the business environment is required
  • 2+ years hands on administration or development experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is required (NAV Core Certification preferred)
  • 2+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server required (certifications preferred)
  • A strong understanding and ability to use and optimize SQL (certifications preferred)
  • A strong understanding and experience with MS SQL Server Analysis Services and MS SQL Reporting Services is preferred
  • Strong experience and understanding of EDI, API’s, core integrations, EAI/ESB/micro-services

IT Integrations Manager

The Simms organization is growing and we’re looking to fill the position of Information Technology Integrations Manager. This is a full-time, in-house position based in Bozeman, Montana.

In this role, you will be leader on the IT team and will be responsible for the functionality, support, and optimization of Simms integration and middleware environment.

The role will work closely with both technical and business staff to develop and maintain high performing and highly available enterprise business systems.

Outcomes of this role include: 

  • Produces a bulletproof, high performance integration environment that runs at the core of the company’s technology ecosystem
  • Effectively translates business rules, requirements, and customer experience needs into concrete and meaningful information for the business
  • Uses a mastery of EAI and ETL skills to transform data and optimize transaction flows
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to optimize and improve business process flows
  • Adds value to technology and business process related projects as a key leader
  • Adds value to the technology and information environment by providing consult and insight into buy/build decisions
  • Efficiently manages and prioritize projects and operational activities both individually and with regard to technical teams and projects
  • Produces highly capable stakeholders and systems users through exceptional teaching and training skills
  • Able to develop, maintain, and measure process improvements pertaining to both the technology and the business environment
  • Successfully automates manual processes with a focus and understanding of improvement cycles

Successful candidates should possess: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems management, computer science, engineering, or other technical discipline
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience is required
  • 4+ years’ experience managing and leading teams is required
  • A mastery of commonly used integration concepts and functions such as API’s, EAI, ETL, REST, XML, web services, OData/OAuth, JSON, SOAP, data/message mapping, routing and orchestration, service abstraction, Microservices, EDI, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Fabrics, and middleware; and can leverage these concepts to execute optimum integration solutions for the enterprise
  • An understanding of Master Data Management and its value and importance to the business, along with an understanding of the role that integration plays in MDM
  • 5+ years direct hands on experience with automated integration tools such as CastIron/AppConnect, BizTalk, LogicApps, Boomi, Mulesoft, Snaplogic, or Informatica is required
  • Extensive SDLC knowledge and iterative and agile development processes such as SCRUM, RUP, KANBAN, or similar
  • Extensive experience working with and integrating core enterprise software applications, including major CRM and ERP applications – Dynamics Navision experience is a plus
  • MSSQL, SSAS, SSRS, or PowerBI experience is preferred
  • Software development experience is a plus
  • Experience with Sharepoint Administration or development is preferred
  • Familiarity with contemporary technology and social paradigms such as SMAC
  • An in depth understanding of common business and accounting concepts such as inventory, order flow, sourcing, supply chain, product lifecycle, marketing, and sales lifecycles
  • A strong ability to express and grasp technology and business process flows

PRODUCTION SPECIALISTS ROLES

The Simms Production team is growing and we’re looking to fill several Production Specialists roles. These are full-time, in-house positions based in Bozeman, Montana.

The mission of the Wader Production Team is to produce high quality waders. Roles may learn the production processes in the Pressing, Sewing/Taping, Attachment/Boot Building and/or Testing and Packaging area.

Outcomes of this role include:

  • Embraces the concepts of cross training and lean manufacturing
  • Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors regarding issues that affect the production of waders
  • Consistently maintains the highest level of quality; and maintains a safe, clean, organized work area
  • Follows all Safety policies and procedures

Successful candidates should possess:

  • 2+ years production experience is preferred
  • Effective & professional communication skills

Hours for the Production Roles are either:

  • Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 3:30 pm; Friday, 6:00 am – 10:00 am OR
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
