  1. Foam boat patch

I have used the same two foam boat patch fly holders for five seasons transferring from one boat to a new boat. Yes the foam does separate slightly from the backing but overall the product works great. I especially like the magnetic square where you can just throw small flys and not have to mess with them until the end of the day. Large flys stuck in the foam even when pulling the boat down the road.
  2. Boat patch is one piece of gear I can't live without!

The Simms Boat Patch is one of my most useful pieces of gear on my drift boat. I finally have to get another after 5 years of hard use in the drift boat while guiding here in Maine. The patch does a fantastic job keeping all of the flies intact and works great at drying them after they come of my client's leader! Great product, keep up the fantastic work Simms!!
  3. Fine in my vessels

We have used this 'fly snatcher' in the Hells Bay Waterman with red fish and tarpon plies w/o any problems. It is located near the bow so flies can be secured so new can be tied into place. When the 'snatcher' has our flies and we are cruising to news destinations at 30 MPH+ all remains secure. Thanks!
  4. Awesome!

Seriously? How did I ever live without this? I mounted it inside the cab of my jet boat and now as I'm changing flies I just put the wet ones in the boat patch and they are dry at the end of the ride home. I hated putting wet flies back in the boxes then having to air the boxes out at home at the end of the trip, especially when they are wet with salt water. The added bonus is that I can just grab flies I've already used off the boat patch and tie them back on if I want without digging through the fly boxes again. No more loose flies blowing around in the boat when it's on step! Awesome!
