great fit extremely comfortable with under armor. Like the inside string for adjustment that little button works great. Not sure if I like that little string in right pocket I guess its to hook your keys ??? afraid I am going to rip it out. I would prefer a zipper. I will be ordering a back up pair extremely pleased with this purchase

I haven't used them in the field yet but I think they are going to perform (warmth wise) as advertised. I like the fact that the are cut for wearing under waders. No extra material to bulk up.
The feature that I think is flawed is the waist drawstring and drawstring stopper. It's very thin string and the stopper doesn't hold in place. It's impossible to get keep the waist tight enough. I think Simms should have put a better/thicker drawstring and stopper in a product in this price range. However, we've all had to fish a new drawstring though that favorite old pair of sweat pants. It should be easy to replace the string with a better one.

I have owned 1 pair of these pants, that I bought in 2001 when I started guiding. Those pants went through so much, and they held up. The knees are worn thin, and I a burn hole, or a black berry, or something, that's it. I wore them guiding, camping, snowshoeing, snow shoveling, and the big test was under my carharts while pulling wood off the greenchain at the saw mill, full time. It's 2015 now, that pair is still kicking, but I decided I should get another. I don't write reviews about stuff, because most stuff isn't worth the time to write about, but this gear earned it. If you live or play in the north, buy these pants.

Ordered a large an they fit great, love the elastic-draw string waist, makes very comfortable. Would like to see elastic in more Simms pants. That is the reason I ordered these, since my new Simms ex stream $200 pants are way to tight.
Sizing info 5'10" 220lbs Large fit great for Athletic build, a little snug below the knees. Only downside is the 2 front pockets bulge out noticeably.

Wish they made them in 2 styles, 1 cut for under wader wear and a looser cut for everyday wear.
Bigger sizes in everything simms makes would also be nice.
The human race is larger than in 1950's, simms needs to adjust to it in there sizes.

These are the most comfortable pants to wear. 3 standard issue pockets and the mandatory pisser make it convenient to wear almost year round. I've been buying these every year and they hold up exceptionally well. The construction of the poly / lycra material is the perfect blend as to not magnetize your best friends hair like the fleece pant do.
I wear these in lieu of regular pants 8 months out of the year. Simms made a few changes in this years pants. It's a bit thicker than last years so it's warmer. Instead of having to wear extra thermals where I live, in West Yellowstone, I just wear these. The other change is the leg taper. They'e tighter towards the calf and ankle which is just fine during the winter months or underneath your waders however not quite as utilitarian as previous years. so it may look as though you're wearing nordic pants during the middle of summer (this is the only reason I give 4 stars).
