GORE-TEX® Innovation in hand With the last leaves clinging to bankside foliage, shoulder-season itineraries can turn subzero fast. Spare your hands from a wintry blast and fish out the day in Simms' fully waterproof/breathable ProDry™ Glove, powered by Gore-Tex®. Heat-trapping generating glove internals start with a removable stretch-fleece liner for hands in need of respite, while half-finger engineering maximizes line management and knot tying capabilities. Goat leather palms are durable and ultra-grippy when wet, and paneled neoprene gauntlet cuff keeps encroaching water from migrating where it doesn't belong.

  • Fully waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® glove
  • Removable stretch-fleece liner with half-fingers for line management and knot tying during cold conditions
  • Goat leather palm for durability and grip when wet and paneled neoprene gauntlet cuff

  • The GORE-TEX® membrane is the heart of all GORE -TEX® products. The GORE-TEX® membrane contains 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch. These pores are so small that water droplets cannot get through but water vapor can still escape. Water from the outside cannot penetrate and cold winds cannot pass through, but perspiration can escape easily, keeping you dry and comfortable all day. GORE-TEX® fabrics are created by integrating the GORE-TEX® membrane between an outer fabric and lining.

GORE-TEX® Outerwear Care:

Cleaning your GORE-TEX® garments regularly will extend the life of the product. It will also keep them breathable as dirt and oil can clog the GORE-TEX® membrane over time.

It is critical to wash jackets. Natural oils can damage the GORE-TEX® tape and adhesives causing a peeling effect.

Machine wash warm. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.

Remember to zip all pockets and close all Velcro cuffs before washing to prevent any damage caused by the machine.

Tumble dry on warm setting making sure not to use a high heat setting. Drying on warm will actually reactivate the DWR coating.

Expecting more!

BillyDvd, 4/25/2016

After 2 days - total of 8~12 hrs of wearing:
The good- Wearing the liners and the shell in 19 deg rain/sleet with 20mph winds, as a spectator for the kids sports - dry and reasonably warm, as I would not be fishing in this weather, so for this they seam to be great.
The ugly: I am right handed so I used this hand with only liner almost exclusively for the weekend of wear. In and out and in and out of shell and pockets. Strange thing is that the left hand liner is totally piling - like a 5 year old constantly worn sweater! For 100$ this should never happen - well maybe after a FULL season of use or a couple years of light use. It gives me the feeling that the quality control is just sub-par. Is the material different between the left and right hand glove? Can I have the liners replaced? Do I need to return these? I am unsure as the fit and function was decent - but this quality thing has me hung up. And what happened to my other reviews? Maybe if they are in someway negative they do not get posted?

Shell is great, liner not so much.

GoatBoy, 11/20/2014

The liner is falling apart after 2 weeks of use. The seams are coming unsewn on both liners, and there is obvious wear on the surface. the half fingers have stretched out and bunch up at the finger base
