This was an exceptionally well thought out bag. Favorite feature is the innovative "Catch and Release" buckle. Just drop the lid, and the buckle magnetically catches and locks in place. You need to turn the buckle to release, so there's no worry about it accidentally opening up if tipped over, spilling your tackle all over the boat. As a fishing guide, I'm constantly in and out of the bag to grab things, and the quick closure is an immense convenience. This buckle is sturdy, and keeps the lid closed even when carrying it by the lid handle. Since the lid overlaps the main compartment, it keeps stuff dry even without zipping it up. I only occasional bother zipping it, if we're running through rough seas or if it's in my truck bed during a rainstorm. Even then, I've not zipped this bag and the contents have stayed completely dry.
I can't think of anything I'd really want to change about this bag, except perhaps having more sizes available, like a shorter, longer "tackle box" style.

This bag is perfect for holding my fishing gear. It's pretty bombproof and has lots of room. Seems to be well thought out. Even more impressive is Simms customer service. I had an older bag that I couldn't get the zipper to work on any longer, so I sent it back for a repair. Simms couldn't repair it and so they sent me a brand new bag to replace it. I'm sold!!!
