Early morning departures and rushed evening exits. Let's face it, getting on the water is not always as easy as we like. And we've all done it, forgotten some piece of "must-have" gear. The reality is that given rod in hand and boots on feet, we still always manage to enjoy any time spent on the river. Nonetheless, staying organized helps avoid the sinking feeling when you realize that you're short on flies or without your favorite pliers. Our Headwaters™ Tackle Bag makes getting out the door and on the river easier. It helps you keep all of your "must-have" gear in one place, so the only sinking feeling you experience is your nymph going deep. You'll find easy access to a variety of pockets and compartments as well as a rod tube holder and a waterproof base.
All Simms outerwear features nylon YKK® zippers to minimize corrosion and provide high performing, durable wear.

Let me first start off by saying that this bag is AWESOME!
I have spent many years in a drift boat and I am now head guide for an Alaskan bush plane lodge and I have put this bag to the test. It is built for rugged use. Its perfect for guides to throw medical kits and all your back up gear. Its waterproof bottom liner is perfect for the boat and worked equally amazing in the bed of our 4x4s. Its also the perfect size to pack out on the float plane. The double zip, top flap actually makes the bag accessible. We used this bag daily on the trails to hold everything from our SAT phones to extra guide logs. I spent over 200 days on the water this year and it still performs like the day I purchased it. This is hands down the best tackle/gear bag I have owned. I plan on outfitting all our guides with this bag for next years season in the Alaskan bush.

This is by far the best tackle bag I have owned and I have owned many different brands. Highest quality zippers, which are the most important component in my opinion. Worth every cent!

I have the older tackle bag and this design is much better. You can get to the outside pockets without having to open the top and with the way the handle is attached you are able to pick up the bag without first having to close and buckle it up. Great tackle bag.
