Doesn't matter whether I'm bass fishing in Montana (yep, some great smallie and largemouth bass fishing), South Carolina, or Florida this remains the perfect hat. And it's perfect even when I'm not fishing! Moves way more air than most while still reducing sun exposure on your head, looks great, dries fast, and makes a great statement floating down premier trout venues! Getting ready to order the 2015 Fractal Camo as a back-up.
Awesome bass gear, Simms, and awesome fishing gear in general! I can't thank you enough as a fellow Montanan and long time bass fishing fanatic (grew up in GA) for supporting bass fishing! By the way, in all my years of bass fishing (54 years so far) the biggest bass I've ever caught was a 10 pounder on a fly rod with a # 2 Whitlock deer hair popper. And I throw lots of of gear!
I was a big supporter of all things Simms, due to their awesome quality, durability and design for 11 years as a guide on the Bighorn and remain an even more ardent supporter and endorser with Simms' commitment to bass fishing. Keep it up!

All that a hat should be they are light, cool, and fit well not to mention nice looking. I have used mine now for one season of fishing and I dip it in the water a few times a day and put it on my head to keep cool on hot days and it looks like new. I have had a number of positive comments about the appearance of this hat even from people that done fish. Worth the money.
