As you wade deeper into chilled pools or swift rivers on a cold fall morning, a numbing current pushing against your legs, you are going to want some warming reinforcements. Simms' men's Guide Fleece Bib battles the chill with breathable, sweat-wicking performance and a soft, stretchy fit. The plush fleece interior lays smooth next to your skin and lasts through the seasons with a durable, anti-pill build. A zip-front entry makes for easy on and off, and stretch-fit stirrups contour to you for a natural fit that won't bunch underneath your waders.
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

Used while fishing Western Woods of Maine this June. Perfect weight to keep me warm in cold rivers, was comfortable while bushwhacking to get to the river too.

First the positive:
The fit of the Guide Fleece Bib is perfect. Being one piece, there are no gaps to let the cold in and the garment moves completely with you. As the base layer you can actually layer to the circumstance and not feel to encumbered by the exterior layers. I give them 5 stars for that. Plus they hang dry perfectly.
I may not be endowed like some of the other reviewers. I found that when it's time to answer natures call after several cups of coffee or a few beers, I need to get nearly undressed to pee. The zipper is placed too far away from the equipment. The Guide Fleece Bib would rate 10 stars if there was a flap with a velcro closure in the crotch instead of the lower zipper. Hopefully this can be incorporated future manufacturing runs.

The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars was because the zipper doesn't extend as far down into the crotch area as I'd like. It makes a quick call of nature a little troublesome and tricky. That's obviously a 1-size fits all kind of problem, but everything else about this base layer is awesome! Comfy, warm, not restrictive of casting and movement, and I was in them for a week solid in the tundra of Alaska wading through the river all day, every day.

These guys are very warm in the vital areas and without sleeves they free up your arms for all day casting. The stirrups are nice to keep everything in place with waders on. I also wear these concealed under regular pants and a fishing shirt and you can’t even tell I have them on. Customers bundled up in heavy jackets will ask. “Aren’t you cold??”. NOPE…

Wading in ice strewn waters takes a lot of energy out of the 73 YO body. This Bib helps sustain the day and keeps me in the hunt!

I bought these since I do a lot of winter fishing and there are not any women's version available. The weight is very good but the fit just sucks for a woman. The shoulders are huge.
I sure wish Simms would start offering this product in a women's version like their G3 waders.

Like my polar tech fleece bibs for cold season duck hunting back east, these bibs are like that childhood woobie you toted around for years. The fit is dead-on, so be honest with yourself but enjoy the comfort it provides on chilly and down right cold rocky mountain mornings in the streams. I very much like the integrated stirrups and the ease of making a "call to nature". Breast pockets make it easy to store an iPhone 6+, license, wallet, or anything else you may want close and within the confines of your waders. Awesome product!!
