Just because the leaves are falling and the days are shorter, it doesn't mean the fish aren't biting. Set out into the chill of the river in warm, plush comfort with the Simms' men's ColdWeather LS Shirt. The quick-drying shirt is made with a soft fleece lining ideal for winter fishing. Two oversized chest pockets offer plenty of storage for your fly boxes. The stylish flannel shirt is finished with UPF 50 sun protection.
At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use mild detergent. Gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron inside-out.

Very nice shirt but they run one size small. I bought a 2XL and when it arrived I thought there was a mistake when the size tag was seen in the shirt because the shirt fit like a size XL. I bought another shirt and it was also sized small. Simms needs to come out with a 3XL and larger for the bigger fisherman.

I live in Alaska and this is by far my favorite shirt. I own two and have bought many others as gifts to family members. All have raved about how much they like these shirts. They are comfortable right out of the package. They are a warm mid layer under a down jacket in sub-zero temps. I've comfortably worn as an outer layer in mid 20 to 30s for short durations while shoveling the driveway. It's the perfect throw-on during fall floats in south central Alaska. I'm very glad a friend told me about these!! Not had an issue with size. I typically wear XL and the XL fits me perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'11" - 215lb.

I love these shirts, but agree with one of the other reviewers that the sleeves could certainly use at least another inch or inch and a half.. I am normally an XL in most Simms things, but have recently had issues with different items across the ranges being completely different sizes in the same XL sizing.. some are perfect, others too big, others too small... This shirt would need to be an XXL for me I think... Great item, just weird sizing...

This is a wonderful shirt. Very warm but very comfortable. I went one size up since I have a quarter zip underneath it and it fit perfect. Looks great and is very functional. Really love it.

I don't normally write reviews but this shirt deserves one. My dad and I both got one for fall trout fishing in the Appalichains. So far has kept me warm and comfortable in temps in the mid 30's. The lining is great! Another great Simms product. Love it!

Bought this shirt for a cold Colorado morning. Was the best purchase of that trip. Really comfortable and warm.

I purchased 2 of these shirts not long ago. I really like all the attention to details in the shirt/flannel. The inside lining is awesome. Kept me really warm in 35/40 degree temps with just a t-shirt underneath. Theirs only 1 drawback and I wish the sleeves were maybe 1" longer. For me when I extend my arm reaching for stuff, the cuff will ride up my arm a little. But my arms may be a tad on the longer side? A 3x size in this would be great too.

In Minnesota, the seasons run their full course. The Coldweather LS Shirt is a staple for me on and off the water from fall through early spring. Fleece lined and extremely flexible, I can layer this to be mobile, yet warm. Exactly what high performance fishing apparel should be.

High quality shirt - well made, well proportioned, and extremely comfortable. Sizing is accurate I think - if you plan to wear something more than a t-shirt beneath it you may want to go up a size. Shirt tail is somewhat shorter than average, which I like for a lined shirt as it makes it conducive to wearing/looking neat without being tucked in.

I recently purchased this shirt. Its so warm & comfortable! I'd recommend getting a bigger size though. I'm usually an XL but found the XXL to fit better.
