Technologies

  • Products using the COR3™ Technology fabric finish have a UPF rating of 30 or greater, properties to minimize odor and outstanding wicking performance for important moisture management. The anti-odor finish helps control odors caused by a wide range of microorganisms (mold, mildew, algae, yeast) is compatible with virtually all fabrics. All of our performance cotton clothing utilizing COR3™ also feature COR3™ EZ. The "EZ" means easy care and indicates that garments featuring this treatment will travel well and resist wrinkles.

  • At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering.  Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent).  UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed.  A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through.  This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly.  All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.

Reviews

Run tight or run baggy. No perfect fit

Lawrence, 8/2/2017

First off.....VERY WELL MADE PANT!!! I see a review that they run really big and another that they should be offered in more sizes. I bought a pair for size 38 which is large and they are sooooo tight that I can't tuck shirts in. The solution is obvious. They need to be offered in more sizes than large fitting 36 to 38. If I'm a 36 then guess what....baggy, if I'm a 38 guess what...too tight. Help us out Simms!!! We love you but come on!!! :)

I'm ordering XL now to see the difference but I'm sure it's going to be too baggy

Nice pants...but need more sizes!

hk, 7/15/2016

Love these pants, but the legs are WAY too short. More sizes should be available (hint: match the sizes of Simms waders--so sizes like LL would be great).

Other than that--nice pants--but I may look to another manufacturer to find something similar for my next pair if Simms maintains the same size limitations.

Great Pant

G. Wood, 2/23/2016

The waist band on these pants is outstanding - able to layer when wearing under waders. Very comfortable. Great finish and fit. Sturdy enough for bush whacking, light enough as an alternative to shorts for sun protection.

Clown pants

MarkBronco, 7/28/2015

Great pants except waaaay to big on the thighs and butt and legs. It's almost as if they made them to be clown pants. Much bigger and looser than ever imagined.

Good stuff

Beards, 3/14/2015

I use these while wet wading mountain streams. Good mobility. Dries quickly. Holds up well to bush whacking.
