Vibram® soles boast innovative compounds and technical sole patterns, specifically developed to meet the challenges of many different environments and applications.
If using in saltwater always clean and rinse to prevent corrosion.
Use a brush to remove dust and dirt. Choose an old vegetable brush or toothbrush. For maximum thoroughness, remove laces prior to cleaning. Use specialized boot cleaner, saddle soap or maybe a mild dishwashing soap with luke-warm water.
Do not use bar soap or detergents.
Do not place wet boots close to a heat source (fireplace, campfire, wood stove, radiator, heater, sunny windowsill) as this can weaken adhesives and cause materials to become brittle or shrink.
Dry using natural methods (air dry) and try to keep them out of the sun for long periods of time. Boots dry faster when positioned upside-down. If desired, stuff a sheet or two of newspaper into each boot to absorb moisture. Change the paper each hour.
If you see any mold on your boots, brush in a mixture of 80% water and 20% vinegar.
Over time the use of leather conditioners may provide increased water repellency and can prevent cracking and drying of the leather.
Store footwear in a place where temperatures are stable and normal. Do not store footwear in attics, garages, car trunks or any unventilated spaces.
Never put footwear in washing machine.

Amazing Wading BootsI recently purchased a pair of the flyweight wading boots and so far these are my favorite wading boots! The boots are extremely light weight, have lots of grip on slick rocks, and very comfortable. After about 5 trips I'm seeing some pilling on the boot upper from rubbing on rocks, but this seems purely cosmetic and I'm faithful that these boots will hold up.
Lightweight comfortI’m very impressed with the new Flyweight boot so far. I fished the river for 2-1/2 hours the other day and was surprised at just how light these boots are, yet they feel sturdy and well made. Looking forward to wearing them on longer trips. By the way, I wear a size 10.5 (USA) shoe, but went with a size 11 boot and they fit great with my G3 Guide Stockingfoot waders.
Delivered as AdvertisedWent hard on these. Three straight 12 hour days of saltwater wadefishing south of Venice. Water temp forced waders. Zero break in, never thought about my feet. These fresh water boots outperformed my old simms flats boots.
Got'em, Love'emThe title says it all. Just got a pair last week and put a few miles on them and have zero complaints.
Awesome boot with great tractionLightweight, comfortable, rugged and also good looking. I'm thrilled about my new boot. I mainly fish the Swedish Westcoast and that calls for a tough boot. Came from the Vapor series and I hope the Flyweight will last for 3 season as well.
Revolutionary in comfort and weightThese boots are a game changer for a 60+ year old fly fisherman. Revolutionary in comfort, weight, and practicality. I'm a size 10 in everyday shoes and with a neoprene sock on, size 10 'Flyweight Wading Boots' are perfect!
Size chart is uselessGave up trying to order this boot, sized up then sized true; tried on in Simms waders/socks...not worth the cash flow to keep trying sizes. As word of caution the toe box is made for big foot. However, it lives up to the hype for being light weight.
Look GoodUpgraded from Freestone Boots -- I wear a size 10 shoe - replaced size 10 Freestones (these fit tight) with size 10 Flyweights - tried them on with two different brands of stocking foot waders and both fit great (not tight). Personally I wouldn't upsize more that 1/2 size. The look good, are very lightweight. Can't wait to stream test.
Super Light/ComfortableI've had these boots for about a month and my first impression is these are amazing. So much lighter than my G3's, just hope they hold up as well. For the back country hike in fishing, these have been a gem. Lightweight, no blisters, and after several trips still look brand new.
Like the Flyweight Simms boot a lotSpent a day fishing with my new boots. They are light, extremely comfortable, and interestingly feel really solid while wading. On the trail they feel like a light hiking boot, on the river they feel like a good wading boot. Design is genius and boots are awesome for the hiking angler. Another great product Simms!
Awesome - Very LightThese boots are amazing. Will feel like your floating on a cloud as you walk upstream, through the hills, or into the truck. Can't recommend enough.
