Cleaning your GORE-TEX® garments regularly will extend the life of the product. It will also keep them breathable as dirt and oil can clog the GORE-TEX® membrane over time.
It is critical to wash jackets. Natural oils can damage the GORE-TEX® tape and adhesives causing a peeling effect.
Machine wash warm. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
Remember to zip all pockets and close all Velcro cuffs before washing to prevent any damage caused by the machine.
Tumble dry on warm setting making sure not to use a high heat setting. Drying on warm will actually reactivate the DWR coating.
GORE-TEX® Performance Shell outerwear is waterproof, lightweight, durable and breathable. It’s designed to provide excellent, long-lasting performance in a wide range of conditions.

Only jacket you need in wet or cool weather. Review by Kristy
Amazing jacket. Just got back from a fly in trip and this jacket kept me warm on the river and in camp. Only jacket you will need on a wet or cool days fly fishing. Fits perfectly inside or outside of your waders depending on the weather. I love the women's specific fit details with room in the shoulders to cast.

LOVE IT Review by FOB
Love this jacket. It is so light but so warm and keeps me dry out on the Washington rivers. I especially like the Velcro sleeves and all the extra zipped pockets, which are roomy. :-) I would have given it 5 stars had the sleeves been a little longer. But I am 5'11 135lbs and its difficult to find women's clothing that will fit like its suppose to anyway. But Great jacket. Extremely happy that I forked out for this one. Thanks Simms, You Rock!

I am going back to purchasing men's jackets. Review by Robbi
I purchased last year's women's guide jacket with similar pocket configuration, in a large. Most of my clothes are medium but I wanted space for layers during steelhead season. The jacket is well made and attractive. The fit is good through the body for 40 degree weather but the sleeves and body are not big enough to wear a fleece underneath for cold weather. The front pockets are close to useless because very little fits in them and what does is in danger of falling out when the zipper is opened. I am going back to purchasing men's jackets.
