One dynamic shirt to rule diversified fishing applications, Simms' Taimen Tricomp LS boosts casting and rowing range-of-motion thanks to Action-back patterning, while durable ripstop nylon fabric breathes easy, dumps moisture, and dries quickly. Additional features include strategic knit paneling and UPF 50 sun-shielding COR3™ tech, harmonized with the A/C-like feel of Cool Control™ fabric throughout the sleeves. Anglers will also appreciate welded and mesh-backed zippered chest pockets that deliver fly-box storage, rugged cording and accessory tabs to secure tools, and the sunglasses cleaning heroics of a fulltime chamois conveniently located inside the shirt's hem.
Products using the COR3™ Technology fabric finish have a UPF rating of 30 or greater, properties to minimize odor and outstanding wicking performance for important moisture management. The anti-odor finish helps control odors caused by a wide range of microorganisms (mold, mildew, algae, yeast) is compatible with virtually all fabrics. All of our performance cotton clothing utilizing COR3™ also feature COR3™ EZ. The "EZ" means easy care and indicates that garments featuring this treatment will travel well and resist wrinkles.
At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
Cool Control™ is a cool touch fabric technology that utilizes recycled Jade stones that are converted into a fine powder and implanted into the yarn. This green technology offers a sustainable solution for cool wearing garments and also provides the wearer with anti-odor, wicking and quick-dry performance. Clothing featuring Cool Control is ideal for warm fishing environments. Combined with Simms' COR3™ fabric technology, shirts are ideal for providing comfort and sun protection for all-day wear on the water.

Fantastic shirt. The only change would be a more conservative single color option. Too alternative for those of us that care more about the functionality and less about making a fashion statement!

Wore this shirt last month fishing in Bolivia and loved it. Great storage in the pockets, but my favorite feature is the ability to unzip the vent pockets on the front and reall get some air flow. Just wish they made a few more colors...

I work in high end clothing ( not fishing clothing).so I know a quality product when I see one. This shirt fits that bill. The knit arm is a great idea and it feels great on. The fit of the shirt is a more modern slimmer cut . Most fishing shirts are waaay to baggy IMO, the fabric gets caught here and there and they just generally look bad. So it is nice to see that Simms is keeping up with the times by offering a slimmer cut. My only complaint- please make more color ways!!! Maybe use the Riffle camo pattern on the sleeves ( hint hint ) .

This shirt is truly amazing!! I work in high end clothing for a living so I know quality when I see it. And this shirt has it in droves! The knit sleeves are a brilliant ideas! I also love the cut. Too many times fishing shirts are waay too oversized. This shirt is a trimmer fit than most fishing shirts. That means less fabric to get caught at times and places you don't want . Plus it just looks better. I may have to buy another one of these right away. I can tell it will be my go to shirt this year. Please come out with other colors!!

Great style, function, looks. Wears well and holds its shape after sun and a few washes. Tru to fit

So I looked long and hard at this shirt before I bought it and the only regret I have is that I didn't but it sooner. To me, this is a great piece of equipment...yes equipment because it's more than a shirt in my opinion...even if it is...well, just a shirt. I recently wore this while going for wild brook and browns deep in the N.C. mountains. A fly box, leaders, tippet, phone/camera, glasses, license and a few snacks all fit easily into the 4 pockets with some room to spare. Casting in this shirt was a breeze as the fit is very comfortable but not baggy at all. I'll get tons of wear out of this shirt and without a doubt, I'm very glad I bought this shirt....piece of equipment.....shirt.....what ever it is.
