"These socks have been great to use on colder days, or when the water is cold. The merino wool has done a great job keeping my feet and calves warm, but also has nice breathability. The quality of the socks are apparent as soon as you put them on. Also light weight material."

"same tight quality sock I am used to with Simms. Thickness here perfect, warm. But the height is too high. I wanted Over The Calf, but these come higher than that on me. This could be fine if the thickness of the sock got thinner at the top to prevent bunching under base layers, cuz, it's not a ski sock . . . . hmm, maybe give that a shot Simms. But I am glad I got these."
