Expect a 4–6 week turnaround for most repairs, depending on season and part availability. Repairs beyond the first year may include a small service fee.

- Upload clear photos and a description of the issue
- In most cases, we’ll ask that you send the product in for evaluation
- After a full evaluation — we will confirm repairability, an expected timeline (typically 4-6 weeks at most), and associated fees (when applicable).
Depending on the situation, we may:
- Repair your gear at no cost
- Replace it with the same model (if available)
- Provide a comparable replacement if discontinued
While we’ll always take a look, some products — especially those that have seen years of hard use — may no longer be repairable.
Common things that lead to this are:
- Accidents, misuse, or abuse
- Cuts, burns, abrasions, or punctures
- Mold, mildew, or improper care
- Cosmetic wear like fading or scratches
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
To keep things running smoothly:
- Ship items clean, dry, and free of mold or mildew.
- Remove all personal items (belts, cleats, fly boxes, etc.)
- Clearly write your Case Number on the box
If purchased directly from Simms, Start your claim online through the form on this page. Product must be sent in so that we can evaluate the cause and severtity of failure. You are responsible for charges related to shipping the wader to Simms. Simms will cover return shipping of the wader to you.
If purchased from an authorized Simms dealer in North America, you may return your waders to that dealer for assistance in creating a warranty claim. You must provide the original sales receipt or proof of purchase to the authorized dealer.
If purchased outside the US and Canada, please consult the dealer where your product was purchased to confirm international warranty terms in your territory.
Simms is not responsible for lost items. Please empty all pockets and remove any accessories such as fly boxes, retractors, belts, cleats, or fly patches.
International returns or warranty: Simms Fishing Products has distributors across the globe. If you encounter an issue with product purchased outside the US or Canada, please consult the dealer where your product was originally purchased.
