"They need a built in cling system. Sims aftermarket cleats don’t stay in. I even watched tutorial. 50% of them fell out within 5 trips. Otherwise there are comfortable and light weight. I just wouldn’t recommend in rivers with smooth rocks and stronger currents."
"I spoke with Will in Customer Service two times on the phone. He was very patient and knowledgeable, and we eventually ended up on the Access boots. I just got back from Alaska and couldn't have been any happier with the Access boots. I normally wear a size 9 wading boot, but with thick neoprene booties in my waders and thick socks, I went with a 10. There was a little extra room, and I was glad to have it. "I was looking for a light and durable wading boot that could withstand a lot of wading in the coral reefs of the French Polynesian Islands. Not only did it hold up with no wear and tear but the comfort was notable especially after wading all day. I am presently wearing them on my guided trips in the harsh saltwater of the Texas Coast and they continue to hold up well. The lightness of the boot continues to be my favorite feature. Another great feature about these boots is that they drain well and is made of quality materials."

"But zero arch support. I’m going to buy an insole but wondering if that impacts the drainage. And fair warning I’m “swimming” in these shoes — they are significantly larger than any size 11 I own. I spent considerable time with customer service on the phone to determine the right size. They convinced me it was true to size. I wish there was half sizes. The size 11 fits more like a size 12 or an 11. 5."

"I love the flyweight boots from the past but extreme heavy use seemed to beat them up slightly faster than normal. At least the older version. This boot is so damn light but feels as durable as the G3 boot. Great ankle support as well. Great to see a boot that has both and not just one or the other. "I've been wearing the Men's Simms Access Wading Boot for nearly three months and have logged hungreds of miles and thousands of steps in them. I typically walk 6-8 miles a day while guiding and these shoes are perfect for what I do. They are light weight, durable, and well designed. They have been tested hard in Cheesman Canyon and the results have exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Men's Access Wading Boot!"
