At the center of the all-new G3 PRO is an entirely new Gore-Tex fabric package engineered around one simple objective: make G3 significantly more durable without sacrifice.
The biggest advancement is below the waist, where waders take the majority of their abuse.
The new 4-layer Gore-Tex PRO lower delivered a 60% improvement in pinhole puncture resistance over its predecessor in Simms lab testing. That's a significant leap against one of the most common causes of leaky waders — and a meaningful difference for anglers climbing over deadfall, pushing through brush, kneeling on rocks, or simply putting in more days than most.
Above the waist, a highly breathable 3-layer Gore-Tex PRO upper keeps G3 comfortable through long approaches, changing weather, and long days on the water.
The result is the most pinhole puncture-resistant G3 we've ever made.
Beyond the Fabric
The new fabric may be the main engine, but more than two decades of fishing G3 gave us plenty of other opportunities to make a really great wader even better.
New patterning delivers a more refined, natural fit with the mobility required for hiking, rowing, and scrambling down banks.
A redesigned suspender system and new hardware improve comfort, adjustability, and ease of use. Throughout the wader, subtle but meaningful refinements address the little things anglers notice after 50, 100, or 150 days on the water.
