"The third pair of freestone felt boots from Simms that I have had and they last for a long time and I go wading in very rocky and weedy areas in multiple rivers of Pennsylvania and these boots give me great traction and stability and protect my feet. I can’t imagine going back to using old sneakers or boots not designed for wading in rocky rivers now that I’m used to the Simms freestone boots"
"This is my second pair, Feet got bigger so decided to get a bigger size, now I can wear thick socks inside my waders. Old pair still going strong after many years, I will use them in the Summer for wet wading. Service on my old waders was great: repaired and refreshed like new. Probably will not buy another set of waders from these guys but will surely use their service department if I need them."

"After two pairs of Freestones served me very well, a pair bought a few weeks ago has turned out to be structurally different than previous pairs and created a deep and painful blister on the inside of my left heel. I bought the boots for a coastal steelhead trip, didn't worry about keeping my warranty/registration card because my previous purchases fit great out of the box, but now I am stuck with a pair of Freestones that are eating me up. I will never buy them again, and if you purchase them, I certainly wouldn't assume they will fit the same (or, well if your first purchase) and hold onto your warranty card. I am bummed, as previous iterations of these boots had given me a good fit, along with the toe protection and overall support I like, despite the weight penalty that comes with that sturdier structure. And, yes, I bought the same exact size I always have."
