"I love these things. I order two pair at a time. The only flips I have found that meet my five requirements: durable, they hold their shape when they are wet, the sole cushions without collapsing, comfortable, they stay on when walking uphill. Order one larger than your normal shoe size."
"First of all, when the weather is nice in the Pacific Northwest you won't find me in anything but my Panga flops. Most flops require a long and painful break in period, but I never experienced that with these. I wear these on the boat when bass fishing, fishing lakes, and all the prep work for guiding for Northwest Fly Fishing Outfitters in Portland. I literally cannnot think of a time and place I won't wear them except for church. . . maybe. The only thing I think they screwed up on is the name. Everyone knows they are called flops and not flips!"
"I bought a two pairs of Simms Flip Flops 10 year ago give or take and the quality of those two pairs is significantly better than these which I just order. The old ones have more arch support and have better quality material in both the shoe and the strap. The old strap is significantly more comfortable and stronger than the new one. My old Simms flip flops were the best pair of flip flops I have ever owned. The new ones are OK and for $90 they are highway robbery. I willingly ordered two new pairs because I love my current ones so much. Really sad that Simms would take a first class product and reduce it to average. The flip flop on the left is my old one, you can see the strap and the shoe are much higher quality and more comfortable by a long shot!!! My old ones have been worn hundreds of days and survived all my dogs attacks!"
