BODY MEASUREMENTS:

Demonstrated in the video below, the following points define how to measure yourself for our products.

  • Chest: Measure the widest part of your chest.
  • Waist: Measure the smallest part of your waist, usually just above your belly button.
  • Hips: Stand in a natural stance, measure the fullest part of the hips.
  • Inseam: Measure along the inside inseam of your pants from the bottom of the crotch to the floor. If you don’t have a fabric measuring tape, use a piece of string or dental floss, then hold it against a ruler.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT SIZE WADER

One of the most advantageous and unique aspects of Simms waders is how many sizes anglers can choose from. Why is this so important? At Simms, we firmly believe that a perfect fitting wader will not only greatly improve your overall fishing experience, but it will also drastically increase the life of your wader. WHAT TO WEAR UNDER YOUR WADERS

Don't wear jeans under your waders! Jeans are highly abrasive on your waders wearing from the inside out. More importantly jeans and sweatpants do not transfer moisture away from the body. Proper layering like synthetic materials or wool based products will help wick moisture away from your body and compliment the wader's breathable properties. Otherwise, you'll feel wet and clammy even in the best waterproof, breathable waders made.

We’ve found most people size their wading boots between their street shoe size and 1 full size larger (for men). If you are a half size, size up.
