Love the concept not the execution
"Wanted a solid boat shoe for casting off the deck. One, it catches line on the strap. Not a factor for me on my big boat but on my drift boat and Jon boat I caught my shoe many many times. I also have the stupides sunburn of 2 little squares. Let’s go back to the drawing board. Make it a solar tech material or something, idk you guys are the geniuses not me, But it can’t be snagging and my little window sunburns on my feet are wicked red."

Comfy but needs improvement
"The Drifter has potential to make a great skiff shoe for FL. It's comfy, provides heel and arch support, and stays in place with no socks on in the heat. The problem is they are prone fly line snags on the skiff bow. The strap sticks out and the toe is designed to curl upwards leaving ample room for fly line to get wedged under it. Fly fishing shoes should be flat and flush with the deck. With proper line mgmt it's possible to get by but they could be better."

Kinda funny looking but very comfortable and functional
"I just spent a week with these on a drift boat, and they were great. Great in the boat, and when I had get out of the boat to wade for a spooky sipper, these worked perfect. Yes, some small pebbles a couple of times, but waaaay better than having too put on wading boots. Comfortable and light slip-ons around camp. And now they're my go-tos for the vegetable garden. I usually wear 11. 5, ordered 11s and they're perfect. They are wide but didn't bother me a bit. I have only worn them barefoot."

Best on boat traction shoe out there
"These are awesome boat shoes. I've used them on wet glass boats and aluminium and they are excellent. Nice and cool like crocs, but superior traction. Easy on and off. The buckle will catch line, but that can't be helped and worth it for such good boat footware."

Summer Do It All Shoe
"Purchased these to keep in the truck for wet wading and the boat. Perfect water shoes. I like the heel support as opposed to the strap on other models of shoes like these."

Super crocs!
"Durable, sturdy and stay on your feet when wading in the river. Perfect for hot days on the drift boat."

Love everything about the Drifters
"Bought these for pre/post fishing from my wading boots but have been taken them off since late spring. Comfort and arch support have me just keeping them on before, during and after a tide."

Awesome shoes for the avid fly-fisher
"These shoes are super comfortable and work so well when fishing in a boat, SUP, kayak. They adapt Crock concept with adjustable buckle, water footbed, comfortable heel strap, and a great light color. I have been wearing them this last week, easy to get on/off, super comfortable with decent stability, like the micro sipe's so I don't slip on the dock or boat, adjustable buckle adds flexibility so I can add light socks, no socks, also can use light 3mil wading socks from Simms. Great job Simms!"

Solid footwear
"Bought these on a whim just to try. Was pretty impressed. Comfortable and seem to be durable. They tend to not breath as well as I thought they would so they get a little steamy when it’s hot. Overall I like them and would buy again"

Fisherman’s Crocs
"Love these pair of boat shoes. Awesome quality, light, and look better than crocs, while functioning similar. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is I thought these would be easier to slip on without getting heel caught, but not an issue at all, more a preference thing. Overall love the shoes."
