"This is a great pack for hiking into the backcountry and fly fishing. Plenty of room for layers of clothes, water filter, pack stove, food, and gear for the day. Even a place for a hydration bladder. It can expand or sinch down small. The out web can support water bottles or rods. The net holder can also be used to hold bear spray. It is small enough to fit under the seat on a plane."
"I upgraded to this bag from the Flyweight backpack and am so happy. I am a short, small-framed female and an active fly fisher in Montana so I needed something durable with storage and that would fit my small frame. This bag is bigger than what I was looking for and wanting, but it’s adjustable and fits very comfortably. Awesome storage for gear, fly boxes, and some extra room for a water bottle and an extra layer. Simms is my go-to for fly fishing gear and apparel and I’m very pleased with this pack. "I absolutely love this pack. The large waterproof compartment is perfect for keeping my electronics safe, while the other pockets do a great job organizing all of the smaller essentials. On longer trips, I can fit all of my camera gear in the waterproof compartment and use the lumbar pouch section to store my fly fishing gear—including my hip pack. That means I don’t have to wear both packs at the same time, which makes hiking and fishing much more comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about this bag. It’s incredibly versatile, well thought out, and has become one of my favorite pieces of gear."
"Was looking for a solid bag to take with me on the river. I liked the idea of a fully submersible, but I was not excited about the limited pockets. This bag has it all. I can keep things dry in the main section, and other things I can keep one of the many pockets. The bag has enough room for waders, fly boxes, gloves and the rest of the gear you need on the water.
