"1. The zipper is not so smooth in this price range. 2. Not others optional attachment, just a bottle holder. 3. Hard to find a suitable place to storage a fishing plier. I need to turn my bag to front in order to get my plier. I have sling bags from other brand which has build in plier holster in the front for quick and easy access."
"Zippers on any pack are cumbersome. William Joseph did it right but unfortunately they are no longer . You should learn from their pack all magnetic closures they incredible and don't fail like zippers do no matter how good they are. And one last thing those that fish in cold temperatures would definitely appreciate not having to fumble with zippers ."

"Just purchased the pack from Ed’s fly shop in CO. Love the size of the pack, can get everything in it for the day. The magnetic pocket is great. Wish all the pockets would be magnetic( William Joseph had a Mag pack and it was so easy to get in and out. Waist belt and shoulder strap are great. The only thing I would like to see is all magnetic openings, and a net slot to cary a net. Other wise great hip pack…"
"Fine hip pack in many respects. What is a huge problem for me is the fixed shoulder pad. I could adjust the straps so that it was located in a good position for me. It is baffling that the should pad is not adjustable so that you could slide it along the shoulder strap. In addition the strap is too thin and narrow. Outside of that I liked the bag a lot. The design is quite beautiful in the Dolamite Gray color scheme. However I am going to sell it on eBay at a loss and buy something else."
"The Headwaters Hip Pack is fantastic! It's a great alternative for those (like me!) who don't want to wear a vest. Lots of pockets (even on the belt), nice fly holders built in, water bottle pocket and loops/straps to attach tools, etc. It is fully adjustable and also has a strap to carry it over your shoulder if desired."
